The Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union condemned, on Tuesday, the missile attack on Erbil.
The council said in an official statement, "We in the Kurdistan Islamic Union express our dissatisfaction and condemn the missile attack that occurred in Erbil yesterday evening."
Added, "We also reject any attack on the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, and we call on the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to take all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of these attacks."
The statement stressed, "We demand serious work to develop radical solutions and prevent the security and stability of the Kurdistan region from being disturbed."
