A delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union visited On Monday the Turkish Consulate in Erbil.
The visiting delegation consisted of the official of the Relations Office of the KIU, Muhammad Hawdani, and members of the office, Abdulaziz Hashim and Farhad Yassin, who were received by the Consul General, Mamad Mouloud Yaqout, and the consular staff.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political events and changes taking place in the Kurdistan region, Iraq and the entire region, and exchanged views in this regard.
For its part, the delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union extended its congratulations to the Turkish consulate on the occasion of the success of the elections and Recep Tayyip Erdogan's victory in a new term for the presidency of the country.
On the other hand, the Consul General thanked the delegation's visit and stressed the need to strengthen fraternal relations.
