A delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union led by Khalil Ibrahim, Chairman of the Political Council of the KIU, accompanied by Sheikh Faiq, Mohammed Hawdiani, and Abdulaziz Hashim today Tuesday visited the Turkish Consulate in the Kurdistan Region in order to express their condolences to the Turkish people.
In this meeting, the Kurdistan Islamic Union expressed its condolences to the Turkish people and expressed its readiness to help the earthquake victims and considered it a Muslim and humanitarian duty that the people of South Kurdistan to help their brothers in Turkey and Syria.
For his part, the Turkish Deputy Consul thanked the Kurdistan Islamic Union for its position.
