The Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union issued a statement on the bombing of Kurdistan regions by the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey.
The Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) said in a statement that the Iranian and Turkish military forces have repeatedly bombed the border areas and the headquarters of their opponents.
“We in the Kurdistan Islamic Union condemn these attacks and call for an end to the war and bloodshed and violation of the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as soon as possible.
The Executive Council of the KIU said: We have always reiterated that we are against the territory of the Kurdistan Region to become a source of threat to neighboring countries and the arena of conflict of interests far and near.
The KIU Executive Council calls on the Iraqi Federal Government to protect the sovereignty of the country and resolve its common problems with neighboring countries through dialogue and negotiations.
Regarding the victims of the unjust missile attack on (28/ 9/ 2022), we ask forgiveness for the victims and speedy recovery for the injured.
