The Political Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, headed by Dr. Salahuddin Babakir, received a delegation of the Kurdish National Alliance of Syria headed by Saleh Buzan and the accompanying delegation, on Saturday 19/8/2017 in the city of Erbil.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest political developments on the Kurdish arena in Syria, and ways to reach the desired national goals.
Salahadin Babkir stressed the importance of maintaining the unity of the national row and avoid the Western Kurdistan from political and military conflicts, stressing the support of the Kurdistan Islamic Union for national issues, stressing the option of reform to avoid conflicts.
For his part, the guest delegation appreciated the efforts of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on national and sensitive issues, stressing the importance of consolidating bilateral relations between the two sides.
