Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammad Bahaauddin received the UN envoy to Iraq Jan Kubic and his accompanying delegation.
The visit of the UN envoy to the Kurdistan Islamic Union for the purpose of knowing the views of the Islamic Union on the situation in Kurdistan and Iraq and the region in general and the prospects post-ISIS stage , and the view of the Union on the issue of referendum and elections of the Kurdistan Parliament and the Union's attempts to bring the views of Kurdistan political parties for the purpose of solving the problems of the Kurdistan Region and praised the role of the Secretary General of the Union in this regard.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union praised the role of the UN envoy to Iraq and also referred to the situation in Iraq after the liberation of Mosul city and stressed its reconstruction, solving the problems of the displaced and organizing the city administration.
