Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin stressed that it is the right of the people of Kurdistan to declare self-determination, during a visit to the Justice and Ihsan Movement of Iraq.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaudin with the Head of the Movement, Dr. Ismail Najm, discussed the latest political developments in the Iraqi arena and the region, especially the war of ISIS and the liberation of the city of Mosul, stressing the need to rebuild the city after defeating ISIS.
The two sides discussed the relations between Erbil and Baghdad, stressing the importance of dialogue to resolve the outstanding crises between the two sides.
For his part, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union pointed to the right of the people of Kurdistan to hold a referendum on the right to self-determination.
