Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union , Salahadin Muhammad Bahauddin, in the city of Erbil, received Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations in Iraq, George Robinson.
The two sides discussed during the meeting, the latest political developments in the Iraqi scene and Kurdish and the region, as well as the content of the Kurdistan Islamic Union project submitted to the political parties regarding the exit of the lingering crises.
Robinson praised the efforts of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and its Secretary-General on the convergence of the political parties to reach an agreement to get out of the crisis afflicting the region, describing the steps of the Islamic Union as realistic and according to a certain plan.
