Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, sent on Friday a message of condolence to the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, for the martyrdom of 3 of his sons and grandchildren in an Israeli bombing in Gaza.
Secretary-General said in his message, "With the martyrdom of your sons and the steadfastness of the people of Gaza, we witnessed a historic revolution in the Palestinian cause and the realization of justice."
He added, "We share with you your grief. These sacrifices and convoys of martyrs in Gaza and Palestine will open the way towards a comprehensive victory, God willing."
He stressed that "what is happening is a great test to distinguish the people of the nation and record victory at your hands over the enemies," adding, "We pray to Allah the Almighty, to accept the martyrs, shelter them under his mercy, admit them to the highest paradise, and inspire you with patience and peace."
