Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, sent on Tuesday, a message of congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Secretary-General said in his message, "I congratulate the Kurdistan and Iraqi people and all Muslims in the world on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, and I pray to the Almighty to bring it back with blessings on our countries and peoples."
He added, "Praise be to God, we are receiving Eid this year as we are witnessing relative solutions to citizens' salaries and livelihoods. Our Eid has become two Eid on the occasion of the return of part of the stolen rights."
He stressed that "it is necessary to encourage the spirit of responsibility among citizens and their patience in difficult situations, and not to resort to illegal methods and create chaos."
He stressed, "I would also like to express my thanks and gratitude to the legal and professional efforts of the team of lawyers of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, led by the consulting lawyer (Bakr Hama Siddiq), who was able to skillfully remove the salary issue from the political fray."
He pointed out, “At the end of the holy month, I would like to thank the campaigns of the charitable organizations of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and all the charitable organizations and personalities who served the poor, orphans, and the needy,” explaining that they “also did not fail to extend a helping hand to their oppressed brothers in Gaza”.
He stated, "The beautiful reception shown by all social groups for the month of Ramadan shows the extent of religious commitment and preservation of Islamic identity."
