During his visit to Qatar and participation in the 6th Congress of the International Union for Muslim Scholars, Salahuddin Mohammed Bahauddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, On Wednesday 10/1/2024 attended the Congress of (Family).
The congress which was attended by the Secretary-General of the KIU, Muthanna Amin, a member of the KIU leadership managed the congress of (family).
In the same congress, Dr. Omar Abdulaziz, a member of the Executive Council of the KIU, participated in a speech entitled (Impact of Social Media and Social Networks on Individuals and Families).
At the beginning of the speech, he conveyed the greetings of the Kurdish people to the representatives of the people of Gaza and Palestine and expressed their solidarity with the events in Gaza and the sacrifices that the occupiers are committing in a brutal manner.
In the second part of his speech, he pointed out the impact of social media and social networks on individuals and families and presented solutions to solve and move towards the right direction in its use.
