As part of his tour in the capital, Baghdad, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, and his accompanying delegation, on Wednesday, visited the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadiq.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan region, and the region, stressing that the stability of Iraq positively affects the stability of the region.
The two parties stressed the need to resolve the existing disputes between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government through the constitution, especially the issue of salaries of the region’s employees.
For his part, the Iranian ambassador welcomed the visit of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and expressed his happiness at the Secretary-General’s tour in the capital, Baghdad.
