Secretary-General of the KIU: We will not remain silent about the rights of citizens

Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, and his accompanying delegation participated, on Friday, in the opening of the new headquarters of the KIU’s fourth center in Garmian.

The Secretary-General extended his congratulations on this occasion, hoping that the Union’s headquarters will always be a home for education and training, serving citizens, and a platform for coexistence and community stability.

He stressed that "citizens deserve all services, and this patient people deserves all services and the security of their rights. Delaying salaries is a great injustice against employees and citizens."

He pointed out that "the Islamic Union accepts many people being deprived of their party rights, but it will not give up in any way the rights of citizens, as unfortunately, the authorities in the region were unable to defend their rights."

He explained, "The authorities in the Kurdistan region have brought the situation to a tunnel whose beginning is dark and whose end is unclear. For this reason, we registered a judicial complaint against the authorities' negligence in the issue of employee salaries. Citizens' livelihoods and employees' salaries must not be victims of political conflicts."
