Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received on Monday the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadiq, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the region, and stressed the need to end the differences between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government on the basis of the constitution.
The two parties also stressed that citizens should not pay the price of political differences and that employees’ salaries and livelihoods should not be targeted.
