Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Thursday sent a message of condolence on the death of Sheikh Tayeb Bahrakah.
In his message, the Secretary-General said, "Today we bid farewell to a pious scholar and a famous scientific figure in Kurdistan, Sheikh Tayeb Bahrakah."
He added, "On this sad occasion, we extend our condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, and to all his students, lovers, and venerable scholars in the Kurdistan region."
He explained, "We pray to God Almighty to forgive the deceased, grant him paradise, and inspire his family with patience."
He stressed that "the death of this great teacher is a great loss, and we pray to God Almighty to continue the followers of Islamic sciences and religious schools in their sciences to fill the voids left by the death of our esteemed scholars."
