Salahuddin Mohammed Bahauddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), accompanied by Dr. Salahuddin Babakr, member of the Executive Council of the KIU, and Dr. Luqman Baskederi, official of the KIU Relations Bureau in Turkey, visited the Iraqi Embassy in Ankara on Tuesday, they were welcomed by Ambassador Khalil Mahmoud Mashhadani and Embassy staff.
In the meeting, the Secretary-General thanked the Iraqi Ambassador for their efforts and concern regarding the tragic incident of the martyrs of Mardin province.
For his part, the Iraqi ambassador reiterated his condolences and said that they consider it their duty to investigate the case until it reaches a legal outcome.
