Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), received Dr. Khanzad Ahmad, Secretary-General of the High Council for Women and Development, in Erbil this afternoon.
In the meeting, Dr. Khanzad highlighted the duties and work of the council and the role of the high values of the Kurdish family, and how to protect and educate future children with our Kurdish culture.
The Secretary-General of the Islamic Union stressed the unchanged position of the Islamic Union on the issue of women's rights within the framework of the rights protected in Islam and everyone should protect the religious culture of our people.
In this meeting, the guest delegation thanked the Kurdistan Islamic Union and appreciated the efficient role and awareness of the cadres of the Union in all fields.
