Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received in the city of Erbil, on Wednesday, a delegation from the Iraqi Turkmen Front headed by Aydin Maarouf and a number of members of the political bureau of the front.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan region, Iraq, and the region, stressing securing the rights of citizens, services, and the rights of all components in the country and their political, administrative, cultural, and social participation.
On the other hand, the visiting delegation praised the positions of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in defending the rights of the components.
