Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), accompanied by a delegation of the Executive Council and leadership visited yesterday Friday 18/11/2022 the headquarters of the KIU in Zakho, He was warmly welcomed by the head of the center and a number of members of the center.
Secretary-General of the KIU expressed his condolences to the victims of the incident in Sulaimani and asked Allah to consider the deceased as martyrs and speedy recovery to the wounded.
In another part of his speech, Secretary-General of the KIU highlighted the political situation in Iraq and the region and pointed to the resignation and the attitude of the KIU bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament, said that elections are a legitimate right of society to exchange power, provide services and solve problems, people elect their representatives for four years and representatives must respect their voters.
At the end of his speech, Secretary-General said that we are proud of the KIU, it protected us from the slippage and plots of evil and has brought us goodness, We must continue to serve the people and the country in the fields of education, preaching and reform.
