Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), accompanied by a delegation, visited Iraqi Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein on Tuesday.
In the meeting with the Foreign Minister, the KIU delegation asked the Iraqi Foreign Minister to work on the issue of Kurdish citizens in the UK, which has been talked about forcibly deporting some of them.
In response, the foreign minister said the cases would be followed-up.
Both sides believe that the forced deportation of citizens will lead to social problems and livelihoods.
