Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union received this afternoon, Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Qadir Hama Jan, a member of the Supreme Political Committee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and his accompanying delegation, the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the region and stressed that the region is going through a phase of political distrust and political differences between the political parties brought the situation to a standstill, after seven months of the Iraqi parliamentary elections did not take a step towards forming a new Iraqi government.
The two sides stressed the necessity of holding the Kurdistan Parliament elections on time and passing all issues and laws that have a national dimension by agreement.
