Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, participated, on Sunday, in a ceremony honoring the deceased leaders and cadres of the Union in the first center of the Union in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
In his speech, Secretary-General said, "Belonging to the Kurdistan Islamic Union means happiness and well-being, and we are very happy that our deceased leaders and cadres have returned to Allah while radiating faith."
He added, "It is necessary that we also follow their example and be eager to meet our Lord with white and unblemished hearts."
He also stressed that "the sons and grandsons of the deceased continue on the path of their ancestors and follow their path in the service of the people and the country."
