Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, and his accompanying delegation visited the city of Halabja on Wednesday.
The visit came to inspect the branch of the Islamic Union of Kurdistan Sisters and the Development Organization for Kurdistan Students in the province, where he held a meeting with them.
In a speech, Secretary-General said, "Everyone must work on a correct education for the individual in our society, as the members of the Kurdistan Islamic Union have always been at the fore in this field."
"On the other hand, there are serious and organized actions to sabotage family ties and distort the thinking of young people, which constitutes a major threat that must be confronted and prevented from spreading in society," he added.
