Secretary-General visits the Islamic Union organizations in the Bahdinan area

Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Wednesday, visited the Bahdinan area to inspect the party's organizations there after the end of the Iraqi parliamentary elections and the announcement of their preliminary results.

Two of the Islamic Union candidates won with a high percentage of votes. They are (Dr. Jamal Kocher) from Dohuk and (Omar Kocher) from Zakho; In the early elections that took place on the 10th of last October.

Secretary-General was accompanied in his visit to the Bahdinan, a high-ranking leadership delegation, which included Dr. Hadi Ali, Chairman of the Leadership Council, Khalil Ibrahim, Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz, Dr. Salahuddin Babiker, Dr. Muhammad Ahmed, Osman Karwani, Mustafa Abdullah, and Nasik Tawfiq Executive Board members.

The Secretary-General visited party cadres and members in the city of Dohuk; Bahdinan district center, where he was received by Saeed Ali Abbo, a member of the Leadership Council; Official of the third center of the Kurdistan Islamic Union.

The Leadership Council, under the supervision of the Secretary-General, held a meeting, in which they discussed the latest developments on the Kurdish and Iraqi arenas, in addition to regional and international changes.

The meeting also discussed the issue of Kurdish youth emigration, and the reasons that motivate them to do so, calling on the authority to assume its responsibilities and find solutions to stop this societal bleeding.
