Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received, on Tuesday, Hakan Karacay the Turkish Consul in the Kurdistan Region.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the early Iraqi legislative elections and the rate of participation in them, as well as the events and developments in the Iraqi and Kurdish arena and in the region as a whole.
The visiting delegation also offered congratulations to the Secretary-General on the occasion of the victory of candidates from the Kurdistan Islamic Union in the elections that took place last Sunday.
