Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin visited, on Thursday, Sayed Sadiq district in Sulaymaniyah, and met with members and cadres of the tenth center of the Union in Shahrzor.
In a speech during the meeting, Secretary-General said, "The members and cadres of the Kurdistan Islamic Union must actively participate in the legislative elections and motivate the masses to participate in the elections," adding that "the candidates supported by the Union are competent and trustworthy persons."
He stressed that "boycotting the elections is tantamount to giving another opportunity to the authority and extending the hope of corruption."
