Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Monday, commented on the current events in Afghanistan.
Secretary-General said in a tweet on Twitter, "The Taliban is that religious student movement that was established about 30 years ago and plays an active role and has armed elements as well as a ruling experience and a network of suspicious relations."
He added, "The situation is still ambiguous in that the movement fought for many years, fierce wars against the Americans, and then turned into a friend with Washington."
Secretary-General stressed that "it is too early to judge and assess the current events in Afghanistan, and we must wait."
