Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, considered, on Monday, that what is happening in Tunisia is a "coup against the democratic and legitimate experiment that exists in this country".
This came in a tweet on Twitter, this evening.
In his tweet, the Secretary-General said: "With great regret, we are witnessing a coup against the democratic and legitimate experiment in Tunisia. It is a clear setback, and a miserable attempt to bury that successful experiment."
He added: "While we condemn this attempt, we hope that the striver and their movements - on top of them Ennahda Movement - will succeed in thwarting it, with more steadfastness, so that victory and peace are achieved."
