Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Monday received the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed a number of political issues of common interest throughout the region, foremost of which is the situation in Kurdistan, Iraq, and the region in general.
The two sides' discussions focused on relations between the Kurdish political forces, and preparations for running the Iraqi parliamentary elections.
