Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin, received in Erbil, on Monday, a delegation from the Iraqi Islamic Party.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the political developments in the region, while the two sides stressed the need to reach an agreement between the regional government and the federal government in Baghdad.
The two sides shed light on the upcoming legislative elections and indicated the imperative of conducting free and fair elections in a democratic and transparent manner.
