Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union criticizes the region’s authority in managing crises

Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin, on Sunday called on the authorities in the Kurdistan region to work to improve the crisis situation.

"The ruling authorities in the Kurdistan region must work to solve the solving crises that afflict the country," Secretary-General said in an interview with Speda channel.

While congratulating the members, supporters of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on the anniversary of the Union’s announcement, he pointed out that "the country cannot be run in this bad way, and the administration must be improved."

Secretary-General stressed "the need to reach an agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government in Baghdad, as it relates to the citizens' salaries, and has become an imperative rather than an optional."
