Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Thursday, extended his congratulations to the Youth Activities Development Center on the occasion of holding their fifth conference.
Secretary-General, in a speech delivered during the opening of the conference, "I congratulate you for your efforts at a time when the situation is rife with tragedies and intellectual stagnation."
"Young people today are exposed to waves of plans and programs aimed at overthrowing their culture and emptying them of their content," he added.
He stressed that "the youth of the Kurdistan region are suffering in the worst eras of our history. Therefore, you must perform your strategic and historical duties."
