Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and discussed the problems of salaries, the budget and the issue of coexistence.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received today, Sunday, December 20, 2020, Jenin Hines Blashart, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and her accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the problems of the political process in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, procedures for solving salaries and budget , issues of coexistence and joint political action.
The representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations praised the role of the Kurdistan Islamic Union as an opposition party in the political process.
