Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaauddin chaired by a delegation on Saturday afternoon visited the Deputy Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Kosrat Rasul Ali in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the latest political developments in Iraq ,the Kurdistan Region and the region. For his part, the deputy secretary-general of the PUK Kosrat Rasul Ali described the role of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in the Kurdistan and Iraqi political arena as important and pointed to the peaceful and mediating role between the political parties Kurdistan in all stages.
Secretar-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union stressed the unity of the Kurdish row and the political parties, because the differences affected the Kurdistan Region at home and abroad.
