Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, met with a number of members and cadres of the Union in the province of Dohuk.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General stressed that "the Kurdistan Islamic Union is able to rise again and its message is a struggle for the service of the people in Kurdistan," adding that "despite the exposure of the Union to a lot of obstacles and political changes, but we did not resort to theft and treason."
As for the decision of the opposition in the Kurdistan region, the Secretary-General explained "Our opposition is against corruption and theft and we are not targeting any particular party." "It will work according to its decision and not motivated by this and that, the Kurdistan Islamic Union is known as a social, moral and reform party."
