Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin met with a number of cadres of the Union in Sulaymaniyah.
Secretary-General during his meeting with the cadres of the Kurdistan Islamic Union confirmed that the existence of the Union was in a period Kurdistan was in need to such ideas and ideology, adding that the period in which the Islamic Union appeared in the political arena in the Kurdistan region the ruling parties were in armed fighting.
Secretary-General referred to the efforts made by members and cadres of the Kurdistan Islamic Union during the 25 years since its declaration in 1994, and the sacrifices they made to fortify society.
