Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaudin, on Sunday 17/9/2017 in the city of Erbil, received Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations George Busten and his accompanying delegation.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Mohammad Bahaauddin during the meeting discussed the latest political developments on the Kurdistan and Iraqi and the region, especially after the activation of the role of the Parliament of Kurdistan, and the referendum on independence scheduled to be held at the end of this month.
For his part, Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations George Bustin, praised the efforts of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and its Secretary-General on the activation of the role of parliament, the positive coexistence among the components of the people, and social stability in the region and Iraq.
