KIU bloc: The political parties involved in the government have agreed to deduct employee salaries

After the Kurdistan Regional Government decided to deduct the salaries of employees by 21% and the salaries of the higher ranks by 50%, the head of Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc in Kurdistan Parliament announced that the decision to cut the salaries of employees was issued by agreement of the three parties forming the government.

Dr. Sherko Jawdat, head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament and a member of the Finance Committee, announced that the political parties involved in forming the three presidencies of the Kurdistan Region, especially the government, agreed to cut the salaries of employees.

He added that these parties oppress the poor and the employees by cutting their salaries before they make the real reforms.
