The bloc of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in the Parliament of Kurdistan, on Thursday, visited the citizen who was arrested by the security authorities in Sulaymaniyah on the issues of freedom of expression.
"the detained citizen was supposed to subject to investigation within 24 hours and deal with his file according to the law," Abu Bakr Haladni, a deputy in the Islamic Union bloc in the parliament of Kurdistan said . He added that "freedom of expression should not be restricted in the country."
"The government must make radical reforms in government instead of curbing freedom of expression," he said.
"The absence of services and lack of observance of laws is another part of the suffering of citizens, such cases must be dealt with in accordance with the law."
