Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaaudin attended a regular meeting of the leadership council of the KurdistanIslamic Union in Erbil on Saturday 22/7-2017.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Saeed Ali Abbou and was attended by most members of the leadership council of the party.
The following topics were discussed during the meeting:
First, an analytical reading of the current political situation in Kurdistan, Iraq and the region, and detailed discussion of the events and changes that are taking place in the regional and international arena and its repercussions and effects on the political future of the Kurdistan Region and the gains of our people. In this context, the meeting stressed that it is appropriate time competition to invest opportunities, In this context, the meeting considers the steps to achieve national reconciliation as priorities work of the Secretary-General and the leadership of the Islamic Union at this session, which are fundamental and key steps to get unity, consensus, to ensure events and variables management successfully.
Secondly, the issue of the referendum was the focus of the meeting of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union. The meeting reaffirmed the strategic position of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in activating Parliament and improving the citizens' lives and normalizing the political and economic situation away from monopoly of national issues by any party.
In conclusion, the meeting thanked all the channels, cadres and organizations of the party for their efforts in implementing the party's plans and programs.
