A delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) visited the German Consulate General in Erbil today.
A delegation of the KIU Relation Bureau led by Mohammed Hawdiani, Head of the Relation Bureau and Abdulaziz Hashim and Sakina Shekhani, visited the German Consulate General in Erbil and were welcomed by Klaus Strecher, Consul General.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
Both sides stressed the need to hold the Kurdistan Parliamentary elections on schedule, agreed to work to promote democracy, and pay attention to freedoms and human rights.
Both sides hoped to continue their relations for the development of democracy, human rights, and freedoms in the Kurdistan Region.
