The Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union sent a letter of congratulations to the Kurdistan Democratic Party on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the party.
In its letter, the council said, "We congratulate you on the 77th anniversary of the founding of your party and all members, cadres and supporters."
Added, "This occasion comes at a time when the Kurdistan region is going through difficult and complex circumstances and faces many challenges and risks, so we must deal responsibly and find appropriate solutions."
"We in the Kurdistan Islamic Union see a way out of this sensitive stage with a bold and responsible initiative, unification of the Kurdish house and a welcome worthy of the parliamentary elections," it stressed.
"On this occasion, we affirm the preservation of the religious identity and the supreme values of our people," stressed.
