Head of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Hadi Ali, announced on Thursday that the extension of the curfew in Kurdistan came to prevent demonstrations and protests.
Hadi Ali, in his tweet on Twitter, said that "extending the curfew between the provinces of the Kurdistan region is not to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, but rather to prevent demonstrations and protests."
He added, "this matter is not logical, because the popular protests have crossed all limits."
