On Wednesday, a spokesman for Kurdistan Islamic Union published a clarification regarding news of the "Roj News" website.
A spokesman for Kurdistan Islamic Union said in his clarification, "The Roj News website published a statement on behalf of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc in Kurdistan Parliament on Parliament Resolution No. 37 of (2003)."
He added that "the statement published by the site to the member of the Union bloc (Abu Bakr Haladni) does not necessarily express the opinion of the bloc," stressing that "what Haladni made is his own opinion and does not express the official position of the bloc."
