The Political Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on Saturday issued a statement on the fifth anniversary of the genocide of Yazidis in Sinjar.
The statement criticized the governments of the Kurdistan region and the federal government in their negligence to heal the wound left by the occupation of ISIS for the city, while we desperately need to unite and stand in front of the challenges.
The statement demanded work on the reconstruction of the city as well as all the cities of Kurdistan.
