A senior delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, on Wednesday, in the city of Sulaymaniyah received the Iranian consul in the Kurdistan region.
In the meeting between the two sides they discussed the latest developments in the political arena in the region ,Iraq and the Kurdistan region, the two sides stressed to consolidate relations between the Islamic Republic and the Kurdistan region.
This comes within a series of visits by the Iranian Consul General in the Kurdistan region Murtaza Abadi to political parties before leaving office.
