A delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on Monday visited the European Union representative in Erbil.
KIU's delegation consisted of the official of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Relations Office, Mohammad Haudiani and a member of the Office Magded Hormziyar. They were received by the EU Representative Claris Pasteuri.
The delegation of the Islamic Union provided an explanation of the latest developments on the Kurdistan and Iraqi arenas, as well as the decision of the Union to choose the political opposition front during the coming period to success the democratic process as well as defending the rights of citizens.
For her part, the representative of the European Union expressed its confidence in the decision of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, expressing readiness for bilateral cooperation.
