Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaudin on Tuesday, in the city of Erbil, received the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Kurdistan, Iraq and the region, stressing the need to improve the living conditions of citizens and to end the decision to save the salaries of employees.
The two sides pointed to the importance of the Kurdish political parties to deal with the changes of the region sensitivily, stressing the need to preserve the unity of the Kurdish row, and seek a comprehensive national reconciliation involving all political parties of Kurdistan.
The meeting discussed also the question of the referendum and the necessary measures in this regard, explaining the importance of activating parliament as soon as possible.
