Salahuddin Mohammed Bahauddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), accompanied by a delegation consisting of Dr. Hadi Ali, Chairman of the Leadership Council, Dr. Musanna Amin, Member of the Leadership and Dr. Luqman Baskederi, Representative of the KIU in Turkey participated at the General Assembly of the World Organization for Justice and Democracy in Istanbul.
It is worth mentioning that this meeting is an attempt to organize and bring together moderate Islamic political parties that have political, legal, and popular legitimacy within their countries in order to cooperate, exchange views, benefit each other, and exchange experiences and capabilities. The Islamic Union wants to strengthen the role and presence of the Kurdish nation as an important component of this meeting and the Islamic world and has been an active member since the first day of its founding in 2016.
The meeting will include more than 24 parties and organizations from Indonesia and Malaysia to Western Arab countries.
