Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, sent On Saturday a message to the leaders of the Kurdistan Islamic Movement on the occasion of holding the movement’s general congress.
The Secretary-General said in a tweet on the X website, “Your congress is being held in the month of the Prophet’s birthday and under sensitive circumstances, and its success depends on the spirit of faith brotherhood and a sense of responsibility, patience and tolerance.”
He added, "We in the Kurdistan Islamic Union call on you, in the name of brotherhood and in the name of thousands of people loyal to Islamic Awakening, to deal in a spirit of brotherhood and tolerance, and for the sake of God and for the prestige of the Islamic awakening and the history of your struggle, to ignore your criticisms, dissatisfaction, and the mistakes of your counterparts."
He stressed that "there is no winner or loser in such conflicts. By managing this day in a positive way, everyone will win, and with tension, and renewal of wounds, everyone will lose."
He concluded his message by saying, "We hope that you will consider this congress responsibly and fraternally and that things will be done well."
